BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – One of the biggest names in the Blue Jays’ organization will be making a stop in Buffalo beginning on Friday and continuing over the weekend.
Outfielder and designated hitter José Bautista is set to make a rehab assignment with the Bisons before being re-evaluated in hopes of returning to the big league club. Bautista has been battling a turf toe injury that he suffered June 16th.
If you’re hoping to see the six-time All-Star locally, you’ll have to act fast. The Blue Jays are hoping to have him back soon.
“If all’s good, you’ll probably see him Monday I would guess,” manager John Gibbons told Sport Net.
