BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A new smartphone application aims to give users all the Bills, Sabres and Bandits information they need.
Pegula Sports and Entertainment has announced the My One Buffalo app, which is set to debut on the day of the Buffalo Bills home opener — September 15.
The app, which will also include information on HarborCenter events, will allow users to buy tickets for Buffalo sporting events as well as manage their tickets and accounts from their phones.
Along with this, the app is also designed to let users transfer tickets and access special game-day privileges.
“Our goal is to build on the success of the Sabres Fan Advantage app and expand it to include the Bills, Bandits and HarborCenter,” said Brent Rossi, Pegula Sports and Entertainment’s executive vice president of marketing and brand strategy. “In addition to including more of our properties, we’re also automating the process for fans to receive credit for their support of our teams and we are providing exclusive offers based on how often they interact. Through our new tier system, fans will improve their tier and receive greater benefits based on how often they connect with our teams and venues.”
In recent time, state-of-the-art Wi-Fi was installed at Ralph Wilson Stadium, First Niagara Stadium and HarborCenter. New iBeacons at the venues will allow users to access the app via Bluetooth. By doing this at the venues, users can earn credits for attending games and receive special offers.
Credits can also be earned at Buffalo teams’ away games.
Users at home watching games on MSG Western New York can also receive credits through the app.
The app will be featured in the Bills mobile app in mid-September, but will not reach the Sabres mobile app until the team’s home opener on October 13.
