Victim identified in Porter crash

TOWN OF PORTER, N.Y. (WIVB) — A man died and three other people were hurt in a crash Friday night involving two cars.

A car heading north on Dickersonville Road failed to stop for a stop sign, hitting a car heading west on Youngstown Wilson Road about 6:00 p.m., according to Sheriff’s Deputies.

The driver of the northbound car was brought to Erie County Medical Center by Mercy Flight.

The driver of the other car, identified as Michael Willimot, 38, of Wilson, died of his injuries at St. Mary’s Hospital in Lewiston.  Two juvenile passengers were brought to Buffalo Women and Children’s Hospital for treatment.

The Niagara County Accident Investigation Unit is still looking into the crash.  No charges have been filed so far.
