The Buffalo Lighthouse will offer free tours tonight

BUFFALO, NY – (WIVB)  Tonight is a good time to visit the Buffalo Lighthouse, especially if you are heading out to the Outer Harbor or Canalside.

The historic landmark dates back to 1833.  It will be open to visitors from 6 to 8 pm and better still, the tours will be free – thanks to a donation from the Rich Family Foundation.

Buffalo’s Outer Harbor is inviting all to enjoy Wilkeson Point where you can rent bikes and enjoy the Beer Garden.

It  is a wonderful spot to watch the fireworks show that follows the Buffalo Philharmonic’s tribute to the music of David Bowie at Canalside.
