FLORIDA (KRON) — Three fishermen in Florida were shocked when they realized a what was on the other side of their line: a 13-foot hammerhead shark.
“Once we got it close to the beach and saw it was a hammerhead then all pandemonium broke loose,” said one of the fisherman.
The men caught the shark off the shore of Sanibel last week.
The fisherman caught the shark about 200 yards off shore and used stingray as bait.
It took the three men about 30 minutes to reel in the shark.
Once they got it into knee deep water, they took a few photos, cut the line and set it free.
