CONCORD, N.Y. (WIVB) — On Thursday, Erie County Sheriff’s deputies responding to a rollover crash ended up arresting the driver.
Concord resident Joshua Hopkins, 32, was found lying near his vehicle on Woodside Road just before 7 a.m. The vehicle was resting on its roof as the result of a morning crash.
According to officials, Hopkins had 15 active suspensions on his license for not paying fines or answering summonses in the southern portion of Erie County. This includes summonses in Springville, Wales and Boston.
After he was found, Hopkins was charged with DWI, refusing a breath test, driving without a license, and a number of traffic violations.
He was treated at South Buffalo Mercy Hospital and released on appearance tickets.
