BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — The 20-year-old Buffalo man who confessed to the murder of Antoin Vance was sentenced to 18-years-to-life in prison.
During the final days of November, last year, Leonard “Pooter” Robinson fatally shot Vance inside the man’s Purdy St. home after arguing about money. In addition to Vance, Robinson also shot 24-year-old Dominique Jackson.
Following the shootings, Robinson took off in a vehicle, eventually driving off of Humboldt Parkway and crashing upside down on the Kensington Expressway.
Robinson did not stop there though, according to law enforcement officials. U.S. Marshals eventually captured him in Los Angeles, charging him with second-degree murder.
In June, Robinson admitted to killing Vance. He was sentenced on Monday morning.
