Lockport Police: Body found in fire debris

Lockport, N.Y. (WIVB) – A body has been found in the debris of the large plant fire.

Lockport Police sent out the news late Friday night. Police said the body was discovered around 6:51 p.m. on Stevens Street.

The body is being examined by the Erie County Medical Examiner’s Office.

No other information will be released.

On Thursday, Lockport Police said they thought it was possible a 14-year-old boy was at High Tread International when the fire started Wednesday night.
