Jamestown man accused of robbing 7-Eleven store

JAMESTOWN, N.Y. (WIVB) — An alleged store robber was caught after police say he stole from a 7-Eleven in Jamestown.

Jamestown Police say Wilfredo Castrillo, 39, entered the N. Main St. store wearing a ski mask at 3:30 a.m. Tuesday before demanding cash.

He did not get that, but police say he did go behind the counter to take cigarettes before running away.

After interviewing an employee and looking through surveillance video, Castrillo was located nearby.

The Jamestown man was charged with robbery before he was arraigned and committed to the Chautauqua County Jail.
