Jamestown man accused of shooting out windows found with active warrant

JAMESTOWN, N.Y. (WIVB) — Jamestown Police arrested a man who they say used a BB gun to shoot out three windows at a local business.

As Tuesday began, around midnight, police headed out to N. Main St. to find 22-year-old Jacob Smith.

Officers investigated the scene and accused Smith of shooting at the I’ve Been Framed business.

Before police found out his true identity, they say Smith lied about his name. This was because he has an active warrant out of Troy, according to officials.

After the alleged incident, Smith was taken into custody and charged with criminal mischief and false personation.
