ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (WIVB) — After reports surfaced that Buffalo Bills linebacker Manny Lawson was under investigation for alleged domestic violence, the team released a statement.

“We are aware of an investigation by the NFL under the Personal Conduct Policy but we have not heard from the league regarding the results,” the Bills said.

On Wednesday, Lawson strongly denied the allegations and rumors about his involvement in alleged domestic violence.

There is a possibility that Lawson could face suspension from the NFL, but it is not clear how long it would last.

Another Bills player, Marcell Dareus, was recently suspended for violating the league’s substance abuse policy. It was determined that the suspension stemmed from a missed drug test. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
