Ramps to I-190 from Niagara St., Porter Ave. reopen

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Two ramps leading to I-190 will reopen, according to an announcement by Gov. Andrew Cuomo.

The ramps, which are next to the Peace Bridge Plaza, connect both Niagara St. and Porter Ave. to I-190.

“Peace Bridge Plaza serves as an important border crossing and the tremendous progress being made will provide both local and international benefits,” Governor Cuomo said, “The completion of this project will not only improve access to the Peace Bridge but remove traffic from city streets, positively impacting both motorists and community residents alike.”

The ramps were closed since Spring for a $56.7 million improvement project. They will be open again September 6.
