Woman found with warrant after allegedly stealing from store

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (WIVB) — Two women accused of stealing from a Kohl’s in Orchard Park were charged, but one of them allegedly had some extra baggage.

On Wednesday afternoon, the women allegedly took $400 worth of merchandise from the store before fleeing in a vehicle. They were later found and positively identified as the thieves by Kohl’s employees, according to Orchard Park police.

After this, both were charged with petit larceny, criminal possession of stolen property and conspiracy. One of the women, Tiffany Byrom was found to have an outstanding warrant out of Amherst for petit larceny.

After she was booked in Orchard Park, Byrom was released to Amherst Police.

All of the stolen merchandise was brought back to Kohl’s.
