Jamestown man accused of possessing more than $2 million in drugs

JAMESTOWN, N.Y. (WIVB) — Authorities in Chautauqua County placed charges against a Jamestown man after seizing 15 kilograms of drugs during a search.

A Thursday afternoon search warrant led police from Jamestown and Ellicott to arrest 34-year-old Juan Pacheco Jr.

He was charged with first and second-degree criminal controlled substance possession and criminal possession of marijuana.

While looking through a home on S. Main St., police say they found nine kilograms of cocaine, 3.5 kilograms of methamphetamine and 2.5 kilograms of marijuana. The drugs had a combined total street value of nearly $2.4 million.

Pacheco is being held in the Chautauqua County Jail.
