Class of 2020 moves into Buffalo State dorms

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — The Buffalo State class of 2020 started moving into their dorms on Tuesday morning. You can only imagine the mixed emotions their parents felt while helping their young adult start their new lives.

The class of 2020 is made up of 1700 students, and it’s the 3rd largest in 25 years for Buffalo State. Enrollment numbers are up too, the school says more than 13,000 first time prospective students applied.

This year, demands for on campus housing have exceeded the limits of the school. and more than one hundred students will be living in residence halls at Medaille College.

For the students new to town, that might not have a ride, ZipCar is now at the school. The car can be rented for as little as an hour, or as long as a day, and it can be unlocked with the ZipCar app.
