4 teens charged in Clarence burglary

CLARENCE, N.Y. (WIVB) — Four teens have been charged with burglary following a Tuesday afternoon incident.

New York State Police were investigating a suspicious vehicle parked on James Court in Clarence when they came across three 18-year-old men and a 15-year-old girl.

The three men, identified as Kyle Beauchamp, Aiden Hyde and Lance Fowler, along with the unnamed girl, ran away from Troopers. Following a foot chase, the four of them were apprehended.

Further investigation showed that the suspicious vehicle contained a large amount of stolen merchandise. This led to charges of burglary against all four of the suspects. The three men were also charged with endangering the welfare of a child.

State Police say that the four suspects had been involved in larcenies and criminal trespassing incidents in Clarence, Amherst and Lancaster in the past.

The men were jailed in Erie County, but the girl was turned over to her parents. She will be in family court at a later date.
