Sabres introduce “dynamic” ticket pricing for upcoming season

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — There’s a new way Buffalo Sabres tickets will be priced for the upcoming season, and a number of factors will come into play.

The new structure of ticket pricing will “better reflect demand” during the team’s season.

Each game will be categorized into one of three pricing tiers. Factors that will influence the pricing include opponent, time of the year, day of the week, rivalries and games against marquee players.

When Sabres fans buy tickets, the price can either rise or fall, depending on the demand for tickets. The tickets will never drop below the price for season tickets.

Single-game regular season tickets will go on sale Saturday, Sept. 17 at 10 a.m. Preseason tickets are already available.

Fans can create their own ticket packages with mini-packs, which go on sale Wednesday, Sept. 7. People who already have mini-packs can renew them by August 31.
