HOLLEY, N.Y. (WIVB) — A gas line was struck in the Orleans County village of Holley, resulting in an order for residents to shelter in place.

Authorities responded to Jackson and Van Buren St. in the village after construction workers struck the line.

Those who are in Holley Thursday morning have were instructed to stay inside with their windows shut due to the ruptured two-inch line. Electrical appliances, including phones, ovens and televisions should not have been turned on or off, as this could have caused a hazard.
