Clarence restaurant employee robbed, shot Sunday night

CLARENCE, N.Y. (WIVB) — The owner of Zoe restaurant was robbed and shot late Sunday, according to New York State Police.

Alexander Pozantidis was closing for the night and leaving with the day’s receipts just after 11:00 p.m., when the worker was approached, robbed, and shot twice in the arm.

The 44-year-old suffered non-life threatening injuries.

Troopers and the Bureau of Criminal Investigation are still looking into the incident.
