Man severely injured in West Seneca home invasion

WEST SENECA, N.Y. (WIVB) — Police say a man suffered a serious head injury after a man and a woman beat him inside his West Seneca home.

Police found the victim “bloodied, beaten and robbed” with a severe head laceration. According to the victim, 19-year old Gabrielle Olejniczak-Allen entered his home Sunday night asking to borrow money. At the same time, 27-year-old Robert Lansberry of Niagara Falls climbed through a window and attacked the victim. Police say Lansberry struck the victim with a baking dish and threatened to kill him and his daughter. The two fled the victim’s home with a cell phone, money and cigarettes.

Both Lansberry and Olejniczak were taken into custody a short time later. Lansberry is charged with robbery, burglary and assault and taken to the Erie County Holding Center on $25,000 bail. Olejniczak-Allen is charged with petit larceny. They are scheduled to appear in court Tuesday.
