Previously convicted meth maker charged again after crashing vehicle

TOWN OF POLAND, N.Y. (WIVB) — Drug charges came against a Chautauqua County man after he crashed into a tree.

Chautauqua County Sheriff’s deputies say Jonah Warner, 24, crashed on Rte. 394 in the Town of Poland.

As deputies approached his vehicle, they say he tried to hide meth making materials in his possession.

Near the end of July, Warner had been convicted of 3rd-degree unlawfully manufacturing methamphetamine.

Because of his previous conviction, Warner was charged with that and second-degree unlawful methamphetamine manufacturing on Thursday. In addition to that, Warner also faces traffic and vehicle violations.

He was jailed without bail. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
