Batavia Police identify body found in park

BATAVIA, N.Y. (WIVB) — The man found dead in Batavia’s Dewitt Park has been identified as 25-year-old Kyeongseop Woodhams.

Woodhams was discovered by a fisherman partially submerged in water around 9 a.m. last week.

After an initial autopsy, Batavia police say no signs of trauma were found on the man’s body. The results of a toxicology are still pending.

Anyone who saw the South Korea native between September 3 and 5 is asked to call detectives at 345-6353.
