BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — The First Niagara Center will be going under a new name.

Officials will hold a ceremony this Monday to unveil the KeyBank Center. The home of Sabres games and countless concerts has gone under a couple other names in the past — Marine Midland Arena and HSBC Arena.

Now, with the KeyBank acquisition of First Niagara Bank branches everywhere, the downtown Buffalo arena is being rebranded too.

In addition to the name change, officials say they will announce special changes for the upcoming year as well.

The announcement will happen at the arena at 10 a.m. this Monday.
