CITY OF TONAWANDA, N.Y. (WIVB) — Police say a driver they arrested for DWI early Friday had a lengthy driving record, including eight suspensions on his license since February 2014.
Officers charged Markeith Adams, 40, with DWI, driving over a .08, aggravated unlicensed operation, no driver’s license and speeding. Officers pulled him over on Twin City Highway. Police say Adams was traveling 59 in a 45 m.p.h. speed zone. When they checked his license, they found the prior suspensions. Police say he blew a .14 BAC. He was held on $250 bail.
“I was drinking beer at the Bills game,” Adams reportedly told police.
