BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – With back-to-back losses to open the season, there is plenty of fingers to point in the Bills organization. The offense proved lack luster in week one, and despite scoring 24 points Thursday, offensive coordinator Greg Roman was relieved of his duties.

The one bright spot for the team has been the offensive line. Providing protection for Tyrod Taylor, who has only been sacked twice so far this year.

“Everything’s always put on them,” Rex Ryan said. “I put things on them, but I think even in week one a lot of that protection thing had to do with our backs in protection as well. But I did think we did a better job of protecting our quarterback in the second week.”

“We just still got to keep improving week to week,” center Eric Wood added. “I didn’t think the sky was falling up front week one when we only scored seven points and when we put up 31, but 24 on offense, in the second game. I’m not going to reverse, we got to get better up front.”

If the line is looking to improve in week three against the Cardinals, the will need to focus on the run. The Bills have only scored on rushing touchdown so far this season.
