Former Sabres defenseman Richie Dunn dies at 59

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Former Buffalo Sabres defenseman Richie Dunn has died at the age of 59.

The team announced Dunn’s passing on their Twitter account Wednesday morning.

Born in Boston, Massachusetts, Dunn played for the team from 1977 to 1982, and again from 1985 to 1989.
