BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Buffalo man who told others that he was a member of comedian Kevin Hart’s entourage is facing jail time after admitting to fraud crimes.

In court, Leland Burks, 56, admitted that he used stolen credit cards to buy tickets for a Kevin Hart show in Buffalo last year.

During this time, Burks booked hotel rooms in Buffalo with the stolen cards, telling people he was associated with the comedian.

In all, Burks reaped nearly $13,000 in fraudulently obtained services and goods.

When sentenced on December 5, Burks could be sentenced to up to seven years in prison.
