Six displaced by east side house fire

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A house fire under investigation on the city’s east side leaves six people without their home.

Firefighters answered the call to Shepard Street around 2:00 a.m., where they found fire at the back of the house. The fire spread from the first floor to the second.

None of the six people, five children and one adult, was home, but they were being offered assistance from the Red Cross.
