7-Eleven employee accused of stealing from business for months


TONAWANDA, N.Y. (WIVB) — A 7-Eleven employee has been accused of stealing from the business over a course of months.

Police in the city of Tonawanda arrested James Pucula, 31, and charged him with falsifying business records and petit larceny.

The North Tonawanda man is accused of taking money, cigarettes and other merchandise from the store as far back as June.

In addition to this, police say Pucula made fake refund slips and kept the money, as well as stole money from customer transactions.

Pucula was taken into custody and held for a court appearance.
