Victim of Clarence crash identified as town resident

CLARENCE, N.Y. (WIVB) — A vehicle accident in Clarence killed the driver — a town resident.

The crash happened Monday morning around 8 a.m. when Gregory Giblim Jr., 48, went off the road and sideswiped a utility pole.

Giblim had no external injuries, according to New York State Police, but he was declared dead at the scene.

A medical emergency may have been the cause of the crash.
