3 facing drug charges after Sunday morning shooting

JAMESTOWN, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Jamestown man was charged with attempted assault after police raided a home on Barker St.

Early Sunday morning, Emil Deprospo, 20, allegedly shot a pistol at another person on Hazzard St. He left the scene before police arrived, according to officers.

The next day, the Jamestown Police SWAT team executed a search warrant and found Deprospo and two others.

While inside the Barker St. home, police say they found cocaine, marijuana, pills, packaging material and drug paraphernalia.

Along with the attempted assault charge, Deprospo was also accused of felony drug charges. The two others in the residence, identified as Kevin Philbrick, 18, and a 17-year-old, were also accused of drug crimes.

When police allegedly found a stun gun in the residence, the 17-year-old was additionally charged with criminal possession of a weapon.

The three were committed to the Jamestown City Jail.
