Buffalo schools Superintendent plans meeting with union President to work on contract deal

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Buffalo Public Schools official and the teachers’ union president are going to come back to the table in order to try and make progress on contract negotiations.

In an attempt to avoid a strike, Buffalo Teachers Federation President Philip Rumore plans to meet with Schools Superintendent Dr. Kriner Cash to work out a deal.

The meeting was set for Tuesday afternoon.

Contract negotiations were not reached in the previous week.
