Drug take-back event happening at locations in Cattaraugus County

OLEAN, N.Y. (WIVB) — The Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office is working with the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency to hold their semiannual National Pill Take Back event.

The event will take place on October 22.

Locals can bring in their prescription and non-prescription medication, as well as syringes, for disposal.

The event runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the following locations:

  • Cattaraugus County Building at 1 Leo Moss Drive, Olean
  • Salamanca City Fire Station at 225 Wildwood St., Salamanca
  • Delevan Plaza at 40 North Main St., Delevan
