Springville man with warrants in Pennsylvania, Florida locally accused of drug possession

SPRINGVILLE, N.Y. (WIVB) — Erie County Sheriff’s deputies in Springville arrested a man with warrants in Florida and Pennsylvania Tuesday night.

Around 9:40 p.m., deputies stopped and investigated 34-year-old Nathan Wikman on W. Main St.

Wikman, a Springville resident, had allegedly been driving with two suspensions on his license, and was wanted in the aforementioned states.

He was accused of violating an order of protection in Florida, and forgery in Pennsylvania.

Although he was already a wanted man, deputies placed even more charges against Wikman on Tuesday.

According to authorities, Wikman had numerous pills and marijuana in his possession during the stop. This led to new charges of controlled substance possession, unlawful marijuana possession and possession of a controlled substance not in the original container.

Wikman was taken to the Erie County Holding Center, pending arraignment on the new charges. He will be turned over to Pennsylvania authorities after that.
