Guided Walks to the Eternal Flame
Location: Eternal Flame parking lot on Rte. 277.
When: October 15, 22
Full Moon Walks
Location: Meet at the Chestnut Ridge Casino at 5:30 p.m. on October 16 or Sprague Brook warming hut at 3:30 p.m. on November 14.
Location: Chestnut Ridge Park
When: October 29 at 1 p.m.
Description: Erie County Park Rangers will lead walks along the Chestnut Ridge Cross-country Ski Trail.
Pumpkindon (The Maize Company)
Location: 3901 Niagara Falls Boulevard, Wheatfield
When: Mon-Thurs and Sun 10am-9pm, Fri & Sat 10am-11pm.
Cost: $12 Per Person ($6 with Maize Admission) All ages!
Description: Tug-o-war, tether ball, Cornyard games, Farm Animal Croquet, Musicians, Comedians, Magicians, Face Painting, Balloon artists, and more.
Location: 4844 Sugartown Road, Great Valley
When: 9am-7pm, every day in October, all ages.
Cost: Wristbands are $11 Mon-thurs and $12.50 Fri, sat, sun. and include access to Pumpkin Jumpin’ Pillows, Mix 96 Six-Acre Corn Maze, Farm Pedal Carts, Country Hayride, Cow Train. Single activity tickets are $4. Free activities include Punchin’ Pumpkin Race, Singing Chicken Show, Perky the Talking Pumpkin, Farm Animals, Corn TeePee, and more.
Cambria Corn Maze
Location: 5274 Lockport Junction Rd., Lockport
When: Thursday 3-8pm, Friday 3-9:30pm, Saturday 10am-9:30pm, Sunday 10am-8pm throughout October. Friday and Saturday Nights are Flashlight nights!
Cost: $10 for adults 15+, $5 for children 5-14, Free for children under 4. On Halloween only wear costume and get half off admission to the maze.
Description: 12 acre corn field with 2 mazes. Pumpkins, apples and a hay bale maze.
Fall Fun Down on the Farm at Kelkenberg Farm of Clarence
Location: 9270 Wolcott Rd., Clarence Center
When: Open every weekend in October from 10am to 6pm and Fridays 1-5pm.
Cost: $12 per person, free for children under 2.
Description: Admission includes hayride, pony rides, farm tour, straw maze, and a pumpkin from the pumpkin patch. Also includes Pumpkins, apples, cider, squash, and baked goods available for purchase.
Zombieville! In Lancaster Village
Location: 5423 Broadway, Lancaster
When: Saturday, Oct. 8th
Cost: Free admission.
Description: Stroll down Central Ave and enjoy decorated windows and pumpkins. Say hello to friendly zombies on the street and enjoy the Zombie Sprint, Zombie Maze, a Ghost Tour and parade.
Becker Farms Pumpkin Fiesta
Location: 3760 Quaker Road, Gasport
When: Every Saturday and Sunday 12-5pm.
Cost: Adult tickets are $7 including free live music, beer, wine, and hard cider. Also includes general admission to the farm.
Location: 12607 Stage Rd., Akron
When: Every day in October
Cost: $10 Admission, children under 3 are free.
Description: Pumpkin picking hayrides, pony rides, and a 5 acre corn maze. Admission includes any size pumpkin for free.
Trick or Treat at the Buffalo Zoo
Location: 300 Parkside Ave., Buffalo
When: October 8-9th from 12pm to 3pm
Description: Trick or treating will be free for children with regular Zoo admission. Over 15 treat stations, festive decorations, and children’s favorite characters.
Family Night – “Ghostly History of Niagara County”
Location: 215 Niagara Street, Lockport
When: October 11th starting at 5:30 pm
Cost: Admission is free but must register early through the Niagara County Historical Society Complex. Descirtion: Discuss the “Ghostly history of Niagara County” followed by pizza dinner, games, crafts and more.
Halloween Trick or Treat at Buffalo Niagara Heritage Village
Location: 3755 Tonawanda Creek, Amherst
When: October 21st and 22nd
Cost: Tickets are $8 for kids and $5 for adults
Description: Includes trick or treating around the village while snacks and refreshments are provided. Reservations are required.
Trick-or-Treating in the Genesee County Village
Location: 1410 Flint Hill Road, Mumford
When: Oct. 29th and 30th
Cost: Tickets will be $7 for kids (1-17) and Free for adults.
Description: Approximately a dozen of the village’s historic buildings will be open for kids to trick-or-treat. Also includes a free bounce house, free face painting, roasting marshmallows over an open fire, visit with farm animals, listen to spooky Halloween tales, and mini golf at the Octagon House.
Halloween Parade in Kenmore
Location: The Kenmore Volunteer Fire Department
When: Halloween starting at 6pm
Description: The Kenmore Volunteer Fire Department is holding a parade for children which starts on the corner of Delaware Road and Wardman Ave and ends at the Kenmore Fire Department. At the end kids can enjoy donuts, cider, and a candy bag.
Halloween and Monster Festival
Location: The Buffalo Central Terminal
When: On Saturday, Oct 8th from 11am-pm
Cost: Free Description: There will be vendors, art, lectures, games, horror authors, indoor trick or treating, and the new Zombie Shooting Gallery.
Great Pumpkin Farm
Location: 11199 Main St., Clarence
When: Open every day in October from 10am to dusk.
Cost: Free every day except on Oct. 6-8 when it will be $5 during the World Pumpkin Weigh-off. Description: Pumpkins, a hayride, a hay maze, face painting, musical entertainment and more.
