BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — The two men arrested in the Anchor Bar shooting from May 20 have been indicted on charges of murder.
In addition to that, Gregory Ramos, 24, and Jorge Suarez, 26, were indicted on charges of criminal possession of a weapon.
Prosecutors say that this past Spring, Suarez confronted Freddie Dizon, 32, at Buffalo’s Anchor Bar after Dizon accused Suarez of being a child molester on Facebook.
During the confrontation, Suarez allegedly walked into the restaurant’s kitchen area and fatally shot Dizon — an alleged event witnessed by a busy building filled with customers.
Gregory Ramos is accused of being Suarez’s getaway driver.
During their Thursday court appearance, both pleaded ‘not guilty’ to the charges against them.
Ramos asked the judge to reassign his counsel, and said that he is suing him in another matter related to conflict of interest.
