BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — On one side, you have people condemning Trump’s actions, calling them reprehensible and vile. Basically, they’re saying his unfit to be President of the United States. On the other side of this topic, his supporters are saying the recently surfaced video had commonly found vulgar dialogue that happened more than a decade ago.
Trump supporter, and co-chair of his New York Campaign, Carl Paladino, shared his reaction, “You got street talk, gutter talk, whatever, most men do it, most women do it, it’s part of our culture, it’s part of our society. How does that in any way rise to the felonious conduct of Hillary Clinton.”
He says the media, and certain politicians are trying to use the video to pressure the presidential candidate. Paladino says if you look at the controversies surrounding Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump, there’s no comparison. “You got a woman who erases tapes, erased emails, lied to the Benghazi parents, one crime after another crime after another crime, and then the Wikileaks release yesterday of the Goldman Sachs speech. She clearly identified the voters of America as a bucket of losers.”
Lieutenant Governor Kathy Hochul says Trump’s dialogue on the video is not “common” by any means. She said, “I grew up in Western New York with a father, 4 brothers, a husband, and a son, and there is no way that that kind of language and attitude towards women as sex objects as individuals who are sought after as pray is acceptable from where I come from.”
A growing list of GOP members are calling for Trump to step aside.
Lt. Gov. Hochul said, “I have no respect for the people who wont disavow him, and this is their time, this is their opportunity to stand up and say who there with, are they with the women of this country, or are they not.”
Paladino doesn’t think this controversy will change the minds of trump supporters. He said, “Because he will be the best president that this country has ever had, he’s going to change things, and for the people that don’t want change they want to fight him to the last minute, they will throw everything at him.”
“Anyone who still supports Donald Trump including the Republican state party ought of wash their hands of this right now and move on.”, said Lt. Gov. Hochul
