Rochester-area man accused of stealing ambulance from hospital

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WIVB) — Police in Rochester and Irondequoit worked together to arrest a man accused of stealing an ambulance.

Authorities who spoke with CBS affiliate WROC say Irondequoit resident Matthew Pawlak, 38, took an ambulance from Strong Memorial Hospital on Sunday afternoon.

It was allegedly stolen around 2:30 p.m.
