BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Keith Winston, 50, admitted to stealing credit cards last month. Now, he’ll serve between 3.5 years and seven years in prison.
Winston was sentenced after he pleaded guilty to stealing and forging signatures for three credit cards.
Back in February, Winston entered Nichols school and left with two credit cards. One belonged to a school employee and another was the school’s.
After this incident, Winston was seen on surveillance video using the cards at several locations, including an Autozone on Bailey Ave.
In March, Winston said he forged a signature from another card he took from a parishioner at North Park Lutheran Church.
On top of this, Winston said he forged signatures from yet another card that he stole from an Early Childhood Center employee. This happened at two stores in April.
Winston, who was on parole at the time of his arrest, has a record of theft that goes back nearly two decades. He was sentenced on Friday.
