BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A man already being held at the Erie County Holding Center on unrelated charges was accused of a series of vehicle larcenies.

Buffalo resident Juan Rodriguez, 41, was accused of stealing money, tools and credit cards from vehicles in the town of Concord this past May.

Erie County Sheriff’s deputies say Rodriguez checked doors and entered unlocked vehicles, stealing items. During the alleged larcenies, officials say Rodriguez took a 15-year-old with him.

Rodriguez was charged with grand larceny, petit larceny and endangering the welfare of a child. He could face more charges as deputies investigate similar incidents.

Rodriguez remains in the holding center on $5,000 bail.
