Local prison employee accused of rape; another charged with forcible touching

ALBION, N.Y. (WIVB) — A counselor at the Gowanda Correctional Facility has been charged with rape after New York State Police say she had inappropriate relations with an inmate.

Kennedy resident Megan Trask, 35, was additionally charged with official misconduct.

Just days before, in Albion, a corrections officer was accused of forcible touching and official misconduct.

Like Trask, Troopers say Christopher Claud, 42, of Lockport, had inappropriate relations with an inmate.

Both will appear in court later this month.
