Woman accused of stabbing ex-boyfriend in corner store

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A woman was arrested after Buffalo police say she stabbed her ex-boyfriend inside a store.

Around 1:20 a.m. Monday, police say Beverly Alston, 52, committed the stabbing at a corner store on E. Ferry St.

The 47-year-old victim suffered non-life threatening injuries, police say.

Alston is accused of using a pocket knife in the stabbing.

She was charged with assault and criminal possession of a weapon.
