Allendale employees share tales from inside reportedly haunted theater

Buffalo, n.y. (Wivb)— A woman in a red dress. A whistling girl. A workman. And a shadowy figure. These are all inexplicable images Allendale theater employees have seen lingering around the theater.

The theater has rich history: built in 1913; saved by the Allentown association in the 1970s; remodeled throughout the 80s; and reopened in 1999. Since the reopening, theater employees say they’ve been having encounters with the paranormal.

Happening October 26 starting at 7pm with doors opening at 5:30pm, they’ll be sharing some of those real life ghost stories. Tickets are $20 and available at the door. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
