ELMA, N.Y. (WIVB) — Despite being shot in the chest, an Elma man is not believed to be facing life-threatening injuries.
Erie County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a residence on Clinton St. after reports of shots fired.
At the scene, an unnamed 39-year-old was found with a gunshot wound. He was then taken to ECMC for further treatment.
The man’s father, Thomas Manuszewski was accused of the shooting. He faces three felony charges of criminal firearm use, criminal possession of a weapon and assault with intent to cause serious injury. In addition to that, he was also charged with menacing.
Manuszewski was committed to the Erie County Holding Center pending arraignment in Elma Town Court.
