Chapo the 3-legged dog looking for a home

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — He’s only got three legs, but Chapo moves around with the energy of a dog with four!

On this week’s SPCA Monday segment on News 4, the 1-year-old Miniature Pinscher made an appearance.

Chapo came to the SPCA with a severely injured leg, which later had to be amputated.

The SPCA says the lively, little 9-pound pet “will make a great addition to just about any family.”

Anyone interested in adopting Chapo can call the Erie County SPCA at 875-7360. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
