Multiple people across northeast report seeing fireball Tuesday night

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — The American Meteorological Society says they received more than 160 reports of a fireball sighting on Tuesday night.

Primarily seen in Pennsylvania, the fireball was also spotted over a number of northeastern states, including New York. Many people in Buffalo said they saw it.

The sightings occurred around 8:15 p.m.
