BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Veterans and active military members can enjoy a variety of deals and offers for them on Veterans Day — Nov. 11. Take a look below:


Veterans and Active Duty Military can select a free meal from a limited menu for Veteran’s Day. Proof of service required.


Bar Louie 

On November 11 – 13, order any limited additions food item and the bar will donate 10% of the sales to Operation Homefront.

Bob Evans

Bob Evans Restaurants are offering free select menu items to Veterans and Active Duty Military on Veterans Day, Friday Nov. 11. In addition to the meal, Bob Evans will offer a 10% discount from November 12 – December 31 for both dine-in and carryout meals.

Bonefish Grill

Armed services personnel will receive a complimentary Bang Bang Shrimp at all Bonefish Grill locations on Friday.


At participating Chili’s on Friday, November 11, 2016, get your free Veterans Day meal if you are a veteran or on active military duty. You’ll need to show proof of military service to get your free Veterans Day meal.

Offering a buy one get one free discount for a small burrito, bowl, or salad on Veterans Day from 3pm to close. Offer is extended to all Veterans, military, and military spouses with proof of service.

Cracker Barrel, Nov. 11, 2016.

Complimentary slice of Double Chocolate Fudge Coca-Cola® Cake. 10% of rocking chair sales will be donated to Operation Homefront.

Friendly’s, Nov. 11, 2016. Free Big-Two-Do® breakfast (choice of two slices of French toast, two buttermilk pancakes or two slices of toast; two strips of crispy bacon or two sausage links and two made-to-order farm fresh eggs), or All American Burger (fries and a beverage ) during lunch or dinner. Dine-in only. Limited to one per person. Offer available for active military and veterans with ID or discharge papers. Participating locations only.

On Veteran’s Day between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m., participating IHOP Restaurants around the nation will be honoring the brave men and women who have served, or are serving, in the United States Military by offering them free Red, White and Blue pancakes. Select IHOP restaurants will also offer a combo of two eggs, hash browns and choice of two bacon strips or pork sausage links as part of the Red, White & Blue Pancake promotion. O’Charley’s will be showing their appreciation for veterans and active duty service members by offering them a free meal from their $9.99er menu on Veterans Day.

Red Lobster
To thank Veterans, active duty military and reservists, Red Lobster will offer a free appetizer or dessert from their select Veterans Day menu. To receive offer, show a valid military ID on November 10th and 11th.

Ru’s Pierogi

The restaurant is offering free pierogi entrees to armed services personnel from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Friday.

T.G.I. Friday’s

Veterans and active-duty military members that come in to T.G.I Friday’s this November can have a free complimentary lunch in honor of Veterans Day!

Army Corp of Engineers Recreation Areas

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is waiving all day use fees at more than 2,400 recreation areas nationwide. This waiver is available to all veterans, active and reserve component service members, and their families on 11.11.2016. Only verbal confirmation of service is required.

JC Penney
All current and former military personnel and their families can enjoy an extra 5% off on purchases in-store (some exclusions may apply) by presenting a military ID or proof of service from Nov. 10-13.

Pro Football Hall of Fame – Free Admission. Annual Veterans Day Salute. Any veteran or member of the armed forces and their spouse or a guest will be admitted free of charge to the Hall of Fame for a day-long recognition of US Military veterans. Members of the Blue and Gold Star Mothers will also be eligible for free admission. Veterans and guests also receive a 10% discount in the Hall of Fame Store. There will be a special ceremony beginning at 10:00 a.m. in the Hall of Fame’s NFL Films Theater. More information.
