ELMA, N.Y. (WIVB) — Erie County Sheriff’s deputies arrested an East Aurora man accused of accidentally committing a fatal shooting in Elma.

On Sunday night, deputies say Jake Klocek, 19, shot another 19-year-old — an associate of his. The shooting allegedly occurred at a residence on Dorris Drive around 8:40 p.m.

The victim was taken to ECMC, where he died from his wounds.

Klocek was charged with second-degree manslaughter and criminal possession of a weapon.

He was taken to the Erie County Holding Center before being arraigned in Elma Town Court. Klocek was jailed on $50,000 bail.

He will be back in court on November 14.
