WEST SENECA, N.Y. (WIVB) — Raeqwon Greer’s three first-half scores were more than enough for the Canisius Crusaders to advance in the semifinals of the Monsignor Martin Association semifininals, defeating Bishop Timon 42-14.

Timon had beaten Canisius earlier in the season, but Canisius got off to a great start thanks to Greer’s first half performance. Quarterback Jayce Johnson added a long touchdown run to start the second half, putting Canisius up 35-0.

The Crusaders will now face St. Francis at New Era Field for the MMA championship. It’s a rematch of last year’s title game, in which the Red Raiders pulled off a stunning upset.
