Rally against gentrification to take place at City Hall

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Monday, people will rally at Buffalo City Hall to stop gentrification.

The Community First Alliance will host the event at 5:30 p.m. ahead of a public hearing on the Buffalo Green Code.

The organization says if the city passes the Green Code as it’s currently written, out-of-town investors and developers will price long-time residents out of their neighborhoods.

The hearing on the Green Code starts at 6 p.m. in the Council Chambers.
